Carla Lake, a certified editor and multisector writer, is the author of Live Amazed, Embracing the Gifts of God in Longing, Loss, and Life. On her blog, From Dust Towards the Heavens, she writes to encourage others to cling to the promises of God through life’s ups and downs. She has also published two journals designed to enhance one’s personal walk with God. Carla’s scientific research, as a clinical pharmacist, has been published in the International Journal of Pharmacy Practice. But her greatest accomplishment to date has been spending 11 years as a home educator guiding her children’s academic development. Carla is married to Richard and has two children, Markus and Sariah.
