About Us
VI FamilyLink is the first-ever family-oriented magazine in the Virgin Islands that connects the home, school and community. It is designed to inform and enrich local families across the Virgin Islands. We focus on the issues that mean the most to our readers including topical and timely articles on health, sports, and family life.
VI FamilyLink offers its print publication for free to our general population every three months. We reach our readers through print, digital and web by utilizing all our platforms. Couples with great layout and amazing photography, we have what it takes to keep our readers coming back.
What We Believe
Everything we do at VI Family Link Magazine is focused on supporting local families.
- We believe that family is the backbone of our community—and that by supporting families, we will have a resilient community.
- We believe that all families can be thrive with the right support and that all children can be raised with the appropriate mix of love and positive guidance. We feel that all parents, regardless of their personal upbringing or experiences, can learn the parenting skills needed to help their children grow into strong, productive, contributing members of our community.
- We believe that there must always be time for family fun. This can best be achieved by minimizing screen time and engaging family members in meaningful family-friendly activities.
- We believe that in order for parent to be the best parents they can be; time must be allowed for them to care for themselves. Maintaining both mental and physical health are important for them.
- We believe that all families, regardless of socioeconomic status, need ideas to make the most of their budget and we are committed to providing cost-saving ideas and ways that families can enjoy low-cost or free local fun.
- We believe that education is of the utmost importance to children, families and the community as a whole. We support parents, teachers, administrators and others involved in the education of children, from birth through post-secondary schooling.
